Ritual can be as simple as a morning cup of coffee or setting the table for dinner. What makes it different than just being a habit or a routine is the awareness and intention we bring to it. The acknowledgment that our actions-our ritual- can be a way to mark time. To press pause for even just a breath to honor the past, the present, and the future; to bring mind, body, and spirit to the same place at the same time.
Ritual welcomes a sense of meaning and purpose to even the most mundane task.
