Peak of Light

Peak of Light

In the light, we can see more.
And right now, the high beams are ON!

This is the brightest week of the year. Full Moon on Monday. Summer Solstice on Friday. This can be a time of joy and a time to SHINE! But it can also feel like being under the spotlight where vulnerability and discomfort are illuminated.

Solstice lies at the edge. It’s the u-turn. It’s the slowing down before change of direction. Be gentle with yourself this Solstice weekend. Soak up the solar power. Store it in your system. The days are about to get shorter again. If we can move with ease now, and not burn out, this light can help support us through our winter.

Season of Pollination

Season of Pollination

Full life, full light. The world is in full bloom. The sleepiness of winter has worn off as we make our way towards Summer Solstice. There is an excitement and a buzz. Perhaps you feel the vibration in your body like you’ve downed a few cups of coffee even if you haven’t had a sip. While this buzz is a healthy part of nature’s rhythms, remember to tend to your nervous system.

Are you walking the dog, or is the dog walking you?

More Than Enough

More Than Enough

The fauna and flora dance in delight with the warming of earth and air. Movement feels good as our bodies thaw out after a long and wet winter. In a world with so much stimulation and noise it feels good to know that our senses can be entertainment enough.

Spring Equinox

Spring Equinox

Sweet rhythm of the Earth.
On the Northern Hemisphere we draw in the fresh in-breath of Spring.
Meanwhile, the Southern Hemisphere exhales into Fall.
Seasonal transitions.
This is how the Earth balances and breathes Herself.

Equinoxes are times of great change. So much is happening.
In the North, all around us, the world is coming back to life.
Re-awakening.
Re-birthing.
Re-newing.
Amidst all the activity, may you still find ease.
It is happening whether or not you try. The change of the seasons is not dependent on your effort.

What will blossom within you this Spring?

What will blossom within you this Spring?

Today the New Moon is in the highly emotional sign of Pisces.
Emotion = E-Motion = Energy in Motion
As spring slowly approaches we are entering a time of great motion.
Change and transformation.
Movement.

"Change triggers the ego mind," said a friend to me yesterday.

Meaning it can be scary. It can bring up emotions. It can spin us out in a mental loop of worst case scenarios. It can take us out of a place of trusting our spirit's ability to guide us or in trusting the natural flow of life.

Or it can not do that.
