Remembering What's True

Remembering What's True

There are times where you may forget your strengths or the lessons you’ve learned along the way. You may forget the wisdom you have collected and have moments where you feel like you have done no personal growth work, or even moments where you feel like you have regressed. This could show up in relationships, in your meditation practice, in your yoga practice, in your job, or somewhere else in your life.

You might be someone who handles these moments with grace or maybe (like many of us) you find them a bit disheartening or even frustrating. Either way, consider them a gift.

Choose Love, Even Now

Choose Love, Even Now

On March 20th we gathered to celebrate our evolution into Ritual. Thank you to everyone who showed up. The studio was completely abuzz from the love and joy in the room and the reverberations have continued to be felt ever since.

The highlight of the evening for me was the Despacho Ceremony, a tradition I learned from one of my teachers. We practice Despacho to establish what the Shamans refer to as Ayni- which translates to right relationship. It helps to teach us the importance of gratitude when moving through life's many experiences; the pleasurable as well as the painful. Gratitude helps us to honor each stage of the journey as valuable.

New Moon and New Beginnings

New Moon and New Beginnings

As nature opens up into Spring, remembering that you are nature. In this time of environmental churning and transformation, can you feel something opening up inside of you as well? Regardless of your answer, just know that we're here for you. In a world where it can be easy to isolate, may our challenges, uncertainties, and discomforts be the impulse for us to come together. May all of our Winters lead to our mutual Springtimes.

Dreaming of Our Becoming

Dreaming of Our Becoming

As things get disrupted in the larger world maybe you’ve had your own disruptions in your personal life. Every shift both inner and outer is an invitation to adjust, to respond, and to evolve. As our world is shifting, challenging us, and at times disrupting us, we’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who isn’t going through some sort of transformation or, at the very least, inquiry about something in their lives right now.

Aren’t we lucky to have a space to come, to gather, to breathe, and to connect? And to remember that while so much can be uncertain or hard to put into words, we can still come in to feel our bodies.
