Chandra started practicing yoga in 2006 and immediately realized the power to heal and transform her body, mind and spirit. In 2010, she completed her 200-Hr Yoga Alliance Certification training and discovered through that experience that sharing this practice with others is her true passion. Over the years, she has had a range of teaching experiences; from working with professional athletes at the San Francisco Ballet and triathletes with RaceQuest Travel in Costa Rica, as well as many studios and corporate settings in the Bay Area. Chandra's classes are thoughtful, accessible and authentic. When teaching postures, she emphasizes safe alignment via clear and balanced joint space through consciously organized pathways of weight. Students are encouraged to anchor their practice in mindfulness, breath control and internal awareness to create steadiness and ease.
