Karen will teach how to hold self-care Acupressure points and then guide you into Yin Yoga poses while Dana creates a Healing Sound Bath. Each Acupressure point, Yin Yoga pose, and Sound are centered around a theme from each Element of Chinese Medicine:

About Self-Care Acupressure: Acupressure is a 5,000 year old ancient healing art from China. Acupressure points are areas of the body that are sensitive and have been found to potentially benefit physical and emotional areas of concern. Holding acupressure points have been found to improve circulation. In Chinese Medicine the word chi relates to the energetic flow of breath, pulsation, and movement. Self-care Acupressure points traditionally help benefit the movement of chi in the body to create balance and ease.
In this Workshop, Karen will guide Yin Yoga poses through the perspective of the 5 Elements of Chinese Medicine. Dana will guide you through a journey of sound interpretation of each Element, to create an experience of the Elements: Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal deep within the layers of your consciousness.
