The breath whispers like the ocean.
The spine undulates like the waves.
Our human form becomes the natural world
as we make space for what is.
In these moments, the body is poetry.
Come, celebrate National Poetry Month (aka Yogetry Month) with a writual word gathering practice!
Writing, like yoga, is a tool for healing and transformation. In this interactive workshop, we’ll invite poetry to arise from the deep places within our bodies: from the belly laugh, the broken heart, perhaps the forgotten toe. Prompts will include movement, sound (in the form of spoken word poetry and singing bowls), and objects from the natural world.
Your poem is in there. You simply need to trust and remember. You might even come away with an original poem that you will want to share at the Yogetry Open Mic on Saturday, April 21!
$40 early bird
$55 after April 9
